In Japan, where Christian is considered that country’s most popular artist; as many as two to four thousand people attend each show while he is on tour there; women faint and bodyguards are sometimes required for crowd control.
Christian has appeared on numerous television shows, including Baywatch, P.M. Magazine, The Extremists, Life Styles of the Rich and Famous, 20/20; as well as on CNN, ESPN, and the Travel Channel.
His images grace an eclectic array of merchandise from greeting cards to jigsaw puzzles; luxury handbags to stained glass window hangings. Meticulous and imaginative, Christian’s paintings depict an idealized vision of the natural world and in particular the ocean he so loves. He has created Seavison, a non profit foundation and has personally donated many hundreds of thousands of dollars for this purpose.
