Prices
We take great pride in offering high quality products at fair prices. The price of each item excludes postage. Postage is based on weight, size and value of the product and will be calculated at check out.
Prices are listed in British Pound Sterling but customers can view the site in their own country’s currency by using the drop down menu at the top right of the navigational bar. If your country isn’t listed please use www.xe.com to get an idea of the current exchange rate.
Payment & Security
We accept payment by PayPal, Credit Cards, Personal Cheque, Postal Orders, or BACS. Payment by cheque or postal order is only accepted in British Pound Sterling. We do not accept personal cheques drawn on banks outside of the United Kingdom. For safety reasons we do not accept cash through the post.
All goods remain the property of Tam’s Treasures Online until full payment is received and cleared. Goods paid for by personal cheque will not be dispatched until the cheque clears usually within 5-7 working days.
When making an on-line payment such as PayPal, Credit or Debit Card customer’s details are secure. We do not store any financial information. All information is automatically encrypted into transit from the customer’s computer to our own using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
Cookies
Cookies are small amounts of data sent to your web browser by a web server. They cannot harm your machine in any way as they are small text files with simple information in them. You can see them as small text files inside your 'Temporary Internet Files' folder in Windows. Our cookies keep track of the items in your shopping basket and act as place markers when you move around the site.
You may experience problems with our site when you try to buy items. These are usually to do with how you have set up your security settings in your web browser.
If you have set your Security Settings in Internet Explorer to 'high' you have disabled cookies. Our site uses cookies to provide some features such as the Shopping Cart and loyalty discounts. To use the site you will need to set the security level for the internet to Medium (under Tools/Internet Options).
This is for "Safe browsing but still functional". Alternatively you can add www.tamstreasuresonline.co.uk to your list of trusted sites. Should you wish to turn off cookies in your browser, your browser's help menu should tell you how to do this, but this will, of course, affect some of the features of our site and therefore your shopping experience.
Dispatch & Delivery
We aim to dispatch all orders (exclusive of t-shirts) the same day if ordered before 1 pm, excluding Wednesdays in which orders need to be placed before 11 am for same day dispatch.
In some instances especially during holiday and busy periods dispatch may be next day however; we attempt to dispatch orders within 48 hours.
T-shirt dispatch information is located on each individual T-shirt page. Please be aware "working days" does not include weekends or holidays. T-shirt dispatch times are 5-7 working days for UK stock and 7-14 working days for non-UK stock which is ordered from the US.
Dispatch is not delivery. Whilst we use first class and the guide line is 1 working day next day delivery is not guaranteed and can be 1-3 working days. Please see the royal mail website for further information.
An order will not be dispatched until all products are ready to be dispatched. Should you require part of your order immediately please contact us to make arrangements. In some cases an additional postage fee will be required.
Orders that include a t-shirt may be dispatched separately if a t-shirt(s) is on back order and is beyond the recommended dispatch information located on that t-shirt page.
Orders are dispatched daily by Royal Mail First Class, First Class Recorded or Courier. In most cases a signature is required so please send the order to somewhere it can reliably be signed for.
Whilst we dispatch orders quickly we are not responsible for delays due to the postal system. We will make every endeavour to follow up on a lost or delayed parcel. Please remember delays may occur during peak holiday seasons.
Returns
We have a no quibble guarantee on all orders for 14 days. Please contact us immediately if you have an item(s) that requires returning and quote your invoice number.
“Faulty, Damaged or the wrong item sent”
In the unfortunate event an item arrives faulty or damaged we will refund in full or replace the item. We would ask that you return the item at our cost with all parts, accessories, instructions in original packaging. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you and the value of the goods.
“Unwanted”
Should you not be completely satisfied with your purchase please contact us with your invoice number. You will then be asked to simply return the item(s) in perfect, resalable, unused condition (including all parts and accessories) within 14 days of receipt.
The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you and the value of the goods.
CDs being returned must be sealed in original packaging or we will not accept them. This is due to copyright law and customers buying and burning copies of cds.
Any unwanted item that is returned damaged due to improper handling by the buyer or in a manner that will affect its resale value will be refused and a refund will not be issued.
For unwanted or unsuitable orders we do not cover postage and refunds will only be issued on the cost of the product.
All refunds will be issued in the same manner payment was received.
Privacy Statement
We recognise the importance of protecting the privacy of your personal details as a user of this website. We do not pass on any details you submit to any third parties. We do not contact you unsolicited, unless the matter involves an outstanding order. Our privacy policy is under frequent review and any changes will be posted in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998.
